The Book Series…

In 2012, over the course of one incredibly intense, productive week, I stepped off a creative cliff. The result was more than 200 pieces that became The Book Series.

Using a weathered set of 1921 Collier’s Encyclopedias as my canvas, I let each page guide the next without overthinking. It was pure stream-of-consciousness wandering, backed by a focused, almost machine-like momentum. These dust-covered volumes found a second life as a playground for spontaneous expression—a direct collision between history and impulse.

This collection is ultimately about renewal, repurpose, and simply allowing the moment to lead. I’ll be adding the full series here over time, and I hope you enjoy exploring the evolution.
